Walk the green carpet – a Spring green event preview

Get ready for these green Spring events.

Spring has sprung, but the best is yet to come in events of special interest to local green business owners. Here’s a preview of several upcoming conferences and celebrations you don’t want to miss:

  • As mentioned in a recent column, the New York City Green Festival takes place at the Javits Center in the Big Apple from April 19-21. There’s still time to register for the event or exhibit. For more information, click here.
  • Also in April, the City of West Palm Beach – and everywhere else in the U.S. – will be celebrating Earth Day on the 22nd.  Stay tuned to this column for ways you and your employees can commemorate this special day.
  • SunFest returns to West Palm Beach from May 1-5. To read about the SunFest Goes Green Behind the Scenes program, click here.
  • If you miss the Green Festival in New York, you can spend the weekend of May 18-19 at Chicago Green Festival. More information to come soon.
  • A lot closer to home, make plans to attend the 2013 Florida Green Energy & Climate Conference & Expo at the Palm Beach County Convention Center from May 22-23. We’ll have more details shortly. In the meantime, click here.
