Urban Plantscapes Terms and Agreements effective 09-01-09
Installations: Urban Plantscapes asks for 50 Percent of the payment before installation and the final 50 percent upon installation unless otherwise stated or additional work is performed not in the original contract. Final payment should be made on the day of the installation. On certain occasions we will ask for more than 50 Percent down if work has to be completed on a very short timeline or it is material heavy. If that is not possible, Final Payment must be made within 2 days of the installation. If there is a dispute about the work completed, it should be made within 48 hours.
This insures the accuracy of the quality of work and protects the company from potential Acts of God, vandalism, or any other unforeseen events that would damage the project.
Irrigation: Urban Plantscapes is not responsible for any plant material and or effects of irrigation systems with valves, spigots, pipes, drip lines,misting systems, over head irrigation, timers, flooding or drought associated with irrigation (installed by Urban Plantscapes or a previous vendor). There are entirely too many undetermined variables that can occur. Examples: other vendors adjusting the valve, the age of the pipes, construction, adjusting irrigation systems, Acts of god, vandalism, interruption of heat or air conditioning, whether with ill will or unintentionally.
Maintenance: Urban Plantscapes invoices on the first of the month for that month. Your contract will specifically determine if you have guaranteed plant care or non-guaranteed plant care. Any payments that are received after the due date are subject to a 2 percent interest charge per month.
Plant Service: Our Plant Care Replacement Guarantee includes organic post control. Urban Plantscapes is responsible for all watering, cleaning and fertilizer. Any watering or pest control to the plants performed other then Urban Plantscapes will violate the warranty.
Point of Contact: Urban Plantscapes is to have one point of contact on the landscape design, installation, plant selection and any other information pertaining to the landscape installation. The point of contact is the person whom signs the contract unless other wise states prior to install. If a secondary person attempts to slow down the progress of work or givr orders to Urban Plantscapes they will be billed for that time, materials or plant material.
Urban Plantscapes is not responsible for any Acts of God, theft, vandalism, or interruption of irrigation systems.
Urban Plantscapes must have access to all plant material during standard business hours. If there is a time where we will not have access to the clients interior or exterior plants please provide us with at least 24 hours notice. If no notice is given, the client will be charged for an additional visit.
Code of Conduct – All interactions between Urban Plantscapes and the client shall be in a Professional and Corporate manner. Urban Plantscapes has a strict no profanity policy and we expect the same in return. Our team will not be disrespected, physically touched or talked to in profanity. These actions would lead to immediate cancellation of contract and potential legal action.
