Philanthropy

Since our inception in 2003, Urban Plantscapes has been a socially responsible company that prides itself on sustainably.  In 2005, Urban Plantscapes assembled teams to help with Hurricane Wilma clearing palm trees off of Florida streets so that ambulances and emergency vehicles could continue saving lives.  During the Christmas Storm of 2010, New York City was brought to a stand still after receiving a record amount of snow in 24 hours.  Hoilday being a busy time of the year for us, we had multiple delivery drivers out.  We immediately jumped into action, shoveling walkways helping senior citizens cross streets in the outer boroughs as well as handing out food to residents that were stranded on streets that were not plowed.  Our most recent “Urban Cares” effort was August of 2011, when the Eastern Seaboard was hit by Hurricane Irene.  We orchestrated a team to distribute water and canned goods to 42 counties.
