Urban Plantscapes was created by Evan Santi and Charles Madison. The two met in Raleigh, North Carolina, where Evan attended North Carolina State University for Horticulture and Agricultural business. Charles, a seasoned corporate executive brought over 30 years of business experience to the table. The two wanted to create a green landscaping company like no other.
From our inception in 2003 Urban Plantscapes has never used any pesticides, fungicides, organic fertilizers or any other chemicals. Our business model is simple, provide the client with the best quality plants and customer service, creating amazing living art without ever jeopardizing the integrity of our organic brand.
It would take two years until they would finalized the corporate marriage betting on the green movement. The results were an instant success. We are proud to say, over 100 clients trust us with their green needs. Our work has been seen in the Guggenheim museum and since 2008 we have been maintaining the Park Ave Malls in the Carnegie Hill section of the Upper East side. Urban was the first landscaping company in NYC to maintain one mile of city streets organically. Urban has been featured in Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Home and Garden Television and many other media outlets. Just shy of our 10 year anniversary, we opened our second location in January of 2012 in Florida, servicing the Miami metropolitan area.
